Product FAQs
It works through mandibular advancement — in other words, it gently guides your lower jaw a little bit forward. That extra room opens up your airway so air flows more freely as you breathe, which cuts down snoring and helps you rest better.
Start by shaping it to your bite. After you've dialed in a comfortable fit, just pop it in each night before you go to sleep.
It's a good idea to wear the device for an hour or two before bedtime so you get accustomed to how it feels. The adjustable straps let you talk and sip a drink while wearing it, so your usual evening routine doesn't have to change. Just remember to brush your teeth before putting it in.
Adjusting can take a few nights. Don't worry if at first you can only keep it in for a couple of hours — stick with it and you'll adapt, especially once you feel how much easier breathing becomes.
Shaping the Somnofit-S uses a simple "boil and bite" technique.
Here's how to fit it to your bite:
- Add roughly 3 inches of water to a saucepan.
- Warm the water until the built-in temperature indicator shifts from green to red.
- Give it another 15 to 20 seconds so it hits the right heat, then switch off the burner. (If the temperature is off, it won't set correctly.)
- Submerge the upper part of the Somnofit-S in the water for around 3 minutes.
- Lift it out and shake off the extra hot water. Take care not to burn your mouth.
- Put it in your mouth and slot the teethprint plate between the top and bottom sections of the device.
- Bite down.
- Keeping the upper piece in place, rinse your mouth with cool water and let it settle for 3 minutes to lock in the shape.
- Do the same thing again with the lower part of the Somnofit-S.
- Add the included adjustment straps to hold it snug and comfortable.
Take a look at our video that walks you through the whole molding process.
We'd recommend double-checking the fit (see "How do I know if the fit is correct?" further down). If something's off, you can simply reshape it with the same steps above.
Signs that you've got a good fit:
- The Somnofit-S stays firmly seated and doesn't slide around.
- There's no bulk, gagging, or blocked airway.
- It covers most of the enamel on your teeth when you bite down.
Bite down on the Somnofit-S and check a mirror. If you can still spot white enamel on your teeth, your bite wasn't deep enough.
If the imprint is too shallow, reshape your Somnofit-S for a comfier fit by following the guide that came in your pack. Just make sure the water is hot enough during molding, otherwise it won't set properly.
Yes! If the first fit isn't quite right, you can reshape your Somnofit-S with the same steps above. As a rule, we suggest remolding the Somnofit-S no more than three times.
Our tips for remolding the Somnofit-S:
With those tweaks, you should get a deeper impression and a better fit.
If a little extra clear molding material is bothering you after fitting, no need to stress — this can happen with a deep impression, and it's easy to fix for a more comfortable feel.
You can carefully trim any surplus material with sharp scissors or a utility knife. For finer touch-ups, a nail file or small sanding tool works well to smooth the edges.
If the material is too stiff to cut, warm the device to soften it a bit. Run through the first few molding steps from your manual:
- Heat water until the included temperature indicator turns red.
- Let the water rest for 30–60 seconds after it reaches temperature — this keeps it hot enough without being so hot it ruins the fit.
- Briefly dip your Somnofit-S in the water to soften the material.
This should make the clear material soft enough to trim without disturbing your original impression.
The Somnofit-S is FDA-cleared for snoring, not for sleep apnea. Since mandibular advancement devices aren't the right answer for everyone's apnea, the FDA doesn't permit us to claim we treat it without a prescription.
That said, a growing set of clinical research shows mandibular advancement devices (the Somnofit-S included) can be effective for mild to moderate sleep apnea. The Somnofit-S was actually included in a clinical study looking into exactly this.
Plenty of our customers have shared great experiences with the Somnofit-S too. Some have even had their doctor sign off on the mouthguard as a fitting treatment. Check out their testimonials on our site to hear what they think!
Keep in mind sleep apnea can stem from different causes. If you're not sure what's behind yours, we recommend talking to your doctor to find the best fit for your situation.
Some dental crowns and veneers can be a contraindication for this device. You can use the Somnofit-S as long as your crowns or veneers aren't loose. Even so, we suggest letting your dentist know you're wearing it. If you've previously had an Invisalign or sports retainer molded to your teeth without trouble, this device should be fine for you too!
Unfortunately, the Somnofit-S can't be used with braces, Invisalign included.
You can use the Somnofit-S once your dentures are removed — but only if you still have enough teeth (see below).
To use the Somnofit-S, you'll need at least 10 teeth on both your upper and lower jaw, including 3 molars or premolars on each side.
If you're missing some teeth but still meet that criteria, the Somnofit-S will work for you.
Bruxism is listed as a contraindication for our mouth guard, since grinding can break the Somnofit-S, particularly in more severe cases.
Even so, many customers who grind their teeth at night tell us they find the Somnofit-S useful.
Just remember the Somnofit-S is built to stop snoring, not to serve as a bruxism guard. Because of that it's less rugged than most grinding guards, so you may need to swap it out more frequently. Keep an eye on it and replace it right away if you spot any damage.
Generally, most people replace their Somnofit-S within a year for hygiene. Depending on how heavily you grind, you might need a new one every three to six months. To help with the cost, consider joining our subscription service. You can also join our mailing list for discounts.
We flag TMJ as a contraindication for the Somnofit-S, because mouth guards can occasionally aggravate TMD/TMJ symptoms.
Still, some customers report that the Somnofit-S actually eases their TMJ. If you have TMJ and want to try the Somnofit-S, we recommend checking with a healthcare provider first.
Yes! In fact, your CPAP may feel more comfortable alongside the Somnofit-S, since it might need less pressure to keep your airway open.
The Somnofit-S shouldn't be used by anyone under 18 unless a healthcare professional approves it.
Our mouthpiece has a flexible frame that adapts easily to wider or narrower jaws, and it's built with roughly 40% less material than most competitors — so it sits comfortably even in smaller mouths.
Absolutely. The Somnofit-S works for people with underbites, overbites, and a regular/common bite.
You pick the adjustable straps based on your jaw's shape. They're numbered 1 to 5, where a higher number means a tighter fit.
Begin with these:
- Overbite: use strap number 1 or 2
- Underbite: use strap number 5
- Common bite: start with strap number 3 or 4
From there, fine-tune the straps like this:
- If snoring continues, move to a higher number — for example, go from strap 4 up to 5
- If the jaw pressure feels too strong or uncomfortable, switch to a gentler strap such as number 3
- Wear each tension strap for at least three to five nights before stepping up again
Gently brush the mouth guard with a toothbrush and toothpaste. A regular denture or mouth guard cleaner such as Pollident works too. Shake off the excess water and let the device air-dry after cleaning, and store it in its case when you're not using it.
Avoid harsh chemicals or household cleaners like bleach, ammonia, or alcohol-based mouthwash.
A UV cleaner is generally considered safe for the Somnofit-S. We haven't finished assessing whether it's the ideal cleaning method for it.
Yes! You can grab a replacement on the Somnofit-S Replacement Adjustment Straps page.
Yes, absolutely. If the Somnofit-S isn't right for you, you're welcome to send it back within 120 days of your purchase.
The Somnofit-S outlasts comparable devices on the market thanks to its durable, medical-grade polymers. Even so, it should be replaced every six to 12 months, depending on your unique mouth chemistry and how much you grind your teeth.

The Airflow Clip Nasal Dilator is worn inside the nose, softly widening your nostrils from the inside. That small change eases stuffiness, cuts down on snoring, and helps you sleep better.
The medium size fits the majority of people, but every nose is different. Because of that, we suggest going with our Trial Pack (which comes with Small, Medium & Large). It lets you find the size that fits you best.
Getting used to sleeping with the Airflow Clip can take some time. Here are a few things that can make it feel better.
- Wet it before you slide it into your nose — just hold it under running water for a moment
- Apply a little coconut oil or petroleum jelly inside your nose before you put the Airflow Clip in
Reshape it to match your nose by soaking the clip in 140°F water for 3 seconds. Then bend the wings in or out so it fits the contour of your nose better.
The medium size fits most people, though everyone's nose is a little different. For that reason, we recommend our Trial Pack (Small, Medium & Large included) so you can figure out which size holds best for you.
It works with CPAP nasal pillows. If you still have questions or concerns, we recommend checking in with your healthcare provider.
Rinse it softly with warm water and a gentle soap after every use. Let it dry fully in the air before you tuck it away somewhere cool and dry.
Absolutely! We want you to be completely happy with what you bought, which is why we back the Airflow Clip Nasal Dilator with a 30-day money-back guarantee. For the full rundown of how returns work, please take a look at our return policy.
The Airflow Clip outlasts a lot of comparable products out there. Even so, it should be swapped out for hygiene reasons. We suggest replacing it every 90 days.

Most snoring happens when you rest on your back. In that position, the muscles of your throat and your tongue relax and drift backward under gravity, which creates that harsh snoring noise. The Posiform Pillow is shaped to guide you onto your side and hold your airway open all night long, so you rest comfortably and snore far less.
Either side works just fine. The pillow is built to make side sleeping more comfortable no matter whether you settle on your left or your right.
The inner and outer covers are both machine washable, so upkeep is simple. Run them on a gentle cycle. Air drying is best to keep their shape and fabric feeling great, though a low-heat dryer setting also works if you prefer.
Memory foam pillows tend to feel firm on day one. They soften as they break in with use. To speed things along, gently knead the pillow until it reaches the comfort level you like.
The pillow is meant to steer you toward side sleeping, which is exactly how it cuts down on snoring. Lying on your back with it will most likely feel uncomfortable.
The premium memory foam inside the Anti-Snore Pillow is backed by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. Follow the recommended care steps and you can stretch its life even further, keeping that snore-reducing support going for years.
Yes. The Posiform Anti-Snore Pillow uses naturally moisture-wicking fabrics. Its 100% cotton inner cover and premium velvet-bamboo outer cover both help fend off allergens like mold, dust mites, and other microbes.
Yes. For some people it actually makes CPAP more pleasant by easing pressure at the back of the throat. Keep in mind the top edge of your mask may brush against the forehead-support area.
Nearly any standard pillowcase fits the Posiform Anti-Snore Pillow. We also carry a Bamboo Perfect Fit Pillowcase shaped to match the pillow's contours. Woven from bamboo fibers, it feels exceptionally soft while keeping you cool and sweat-free.
Absolutely. The Posiform Pillow comes with a 120-night trial, so if it isn't right for you, you can request a refund within 120 days of your purchase. For the full breakdown of how returns work, please see our return policy.
When applied as directed, the Slumber Patch is formulated to be gentle for most adults. It is hypoallergenic and contains no common allergens like gluten, soy, or dairy.
That said, if you are expecting, breastfeeding, on medication, or managing a health condition, please check with your doctor before starting this product.
Keeping the Slumber Patch on beyond the suggested 8-hour window rarely causes any problem. In rare instances, it may lead to slight irritation on especially delicate skin.
Kept somewhere cool and dry, the Slumber Patch stays good for roughly 2 years from the day you buy it.
We recommend removing the patch before bathing or showering, since water may loosen it and cause it to come off.
Place it on clean, dry skin (upper arm, back, stomach, or buttocks) about one hour before you plan to sleep. Switch up the spot each night.
Leave it on for 8 hours, then remove and dispose of it properly. Keep unused patches in a cool, dry spot.
The Luxury Memory Foam SilverSafe Pillow is built from these components:
- Outer cover: A blend of polyester and silver microfiber delivers antimicrobial protection, keeping the pillow clean and hygienic.
- Inner cover: Made from 100% pure cotton to boost airflow and preserve freshness.
Pillow core: Formed from natural memory foam that offers exceptional support and contouring, gently molding to the shape of your head and neck for tailored comfort all night long.
Both the inner and outer covers are fully machine washable, making upkeep simple.
Follow these steps to keep them in top shape:
- Wash the covers on a gentle cycle with cold water.
- Choose a mild detergent so harsh chemicals don't damage the fabric.
- Skip bleach, since it can harm the material.
Air drying the covers is best for keeping their shape and fabric quality. If you prefer, tumble dry on a low heat setting.
The premium memory foam inside the SilverSafe Pillow is backed by a three-year manufacturer's warranty. Following the recommended care routine helps you get even more years of snore-reducing support from it.
Yes. The SilverSafe Pillow contains antimicrobial silver fibers that combat bacteria and dust mites, giving you clean, allergen-free rest. It's also free of more than 350 harmful chemicals, exceeding both OEKO-TEX® and CertiPur™ standards.
Absolutely. The SilverSafe Pillow comes with a 120-night guarantee. If it isn't right for you, simply request a refund within 120 days of buying it. For full details on how returns work, please see our return policy.
